Mr. James Plante, also well known as Jim, is the founder of Pathway Genomics Corporation. James is the owner of this California-based International precision diagnostic and medical company. This corporation offers designed mobile applications to allow the doctor the full control of the patient’s health.

Education and career progression

He graduated from Southern Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. His interest in technology and preventive health dates back to an early age when he used to work at his father’s technology and medical company. After the death of his father, Plante reignited his interest in medical technology. He had the idea to develop his father’s vision of making personalized genetic tested drugs affordable and accessible to everyone. He went ahead to establish tech companies which opened many innovative automotive, service and wireless industrial and consumer merchandise product lines and services. As the President, Director and Chief Executive Officer of Pathway Genomics Corporation Plante has a wealth of experience in, business, entrepreneur management, telecommunications and wireless technologies. Plante is an international pioneer in the growth and delivery of higher genetic health and testing service.

Awards and recognition

Plante is a member of ITAC, a Presidential expert advice team in trade and policy. He will help the Administration progress with its global trade program to improve American businesses, consumers, and workers economic opportunities. He will work as a delegate in the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) and Commerce Secretary. Mr. Plante will help establish comprehensive policies of information, recommendations and technical advice concerning the negotiation of trade agreements, implementation of existing trade agreements and the trade barriers affecting the American industrial sector. His term will end in 2016.
